1.Registration
Upon
receipt of the Tour Registration by RAS the participant is registered and has
agreed to all conditions herein. The travel contract and confirmation of
registration is issued after receipt of the deposit (deposit refer section 2).
2.
Deposit / Full payment
Upon tour registration a
deposit of 10% of the total tourprice per person (if tourprice is less EUR/USD
2500 or NZD/AUD 5000 minimum deposit EUR/USD 250 or NZD/AUD 500) is due
immediately. The balance of the tour price is due to RAS 90 days before tour
start. Please pay to the following bank-accounts:

AUD (no specials) or by credit card in EUR and NZD (no specials, EUR only if
more than 3 months before tour departure).
3.
Services and Costs
Services vary with
the individual tours and are listed in the respective tour descriptions.
We reserve the
right to change our program and hotel accomodations due to unforeseeable events,
including weather, road conditions or other inhibiting factors. In that case RAS
shall endeavour to provide alternatives of equal quality of services and tour
character.
We reserve the right to adjust tour prices as required to compensate for service
provider rate increases. The tour participants are notified of such cost
increases as they become apparent, but not later than 30 days before start of
travel. The tour participants are entitled to a refund of the deposit or any
further payment made if the increase exceeds 5% of the quoted tour price.
4.
Hotel and Accomodation
The
pre-booked accomodation is typical for the area and of a reasonably good
standard. Double-Room and Twin Room Booking are only available for participants
who have registered together.
5.
Passport, Visa and Vaccination Requirements
RAS is
not responsible or liable for any damage, expenses or inconvenience caused by
the participant failing to obtain required travel documentation or necessary
vaccinations. At this time there are no specific visa or vaccination
requirements for our tours. Please check the tour description package for
possible changes of the requirements and special country regulations.
6.
Cancellation by tour participant and penalties
Any
cancellations received by RAS on or before 90 days prior to tour departure, will
result for the deposit not to be refunded to the participant. For cancellations
received by RAS less than 90 days before tour departure the following penalties
apply:
89 to 60 days: 20% of the tourprice (if tourprice is less EUR/USD 2500 or NZD/AUD
5000 minimum deposit)
59 to 41 days: 30% of the tourprice (if tourprice is less EUR/USD 2500 or NZD/AUD
5000 minimum deposit)
40 to 31 days: 50% of the tourprice (if tourprice is less EUR/USD 2500 or NZD/AUD
5000 minimum deposit)
30 days or less: 100% of the tour price
Any cancellation has to be made in writing. RAS accepts transfer for one
participant’s registration to a 3rd party for a further registration fee of EUR/USD
50 or NZD/AUD 100 per person.
7.
Cancellation of the tour by RAS
In case
RAS has to cancel a tour for events out of their control (Acts of God, strike,
war, natural disasters) RAS shall refund all tourprice payments made. If there
are less than 6 tour participants, the tour can be cancelled 2 weeks before tour
departure. In this case the participants are immediately informed of the
cancellation and all tourprice payments made are refunded. The participants have
no claims for any compensation or damages whatsoever against RAS, their agents
or service providers.
8.
Liabilities
RAS, its
agents and representatives shall not be liable for any personal insury, property
damage or loss arising out of the participant in the tour and expressly disclaim
any liability for any injury, property damage and/or loss, delay, change of
itinerary, shortened vacation time, inconvenience or additional expenses. RAS
shall further not be liable for damages, refund or otherwise for mechanical
breakdowns, government actions, Acts of God, strikes, weather or any other
circumstances beyond RAS’s control. The above applies in a case where the
participant had followed the tour guides instructions.
9.
Complaints
Should
any participant have a complaint, despite the thoroughness RAS applies to
planning and execution of any tour, such complaint has to be made in writing to
RAS immediately. Any complaint or claim has to be received by RAS within 10 days
after the conclusion of the tour where the alleged event leading to the
complaint has occurred.
10.
Photos, Film- and Video recordings
Any
rights for photos, transparencies and videos (productions) produced by RAS and
their representatives during travel tours are fully owned by RAS. RAS reserves
the right to use such productions for advertisement, without granting royalties
to participants shown in the productions.
11.
Recommended Insurances
It is
recommended to take out the following types of insurance: Medical, accident,
general liability and loss of luggage. We will gladly assist you to source
suitable coverage.
12.
Other
In the
case of any provision of this document being void, this shall not affect the
validity of the remaining provisions in this document. Tour guides are not
authorised to grant rights or promise services different from the tour and
rental agreement. Verbal agreements are invalid unless followed up in writing
with confirmation of RAS. In case of any dispute the jurisdiction of the
appropriate court in Coburg, Germany is agreed upon.
